Coronavirus-

Medical Supply

Ms. Shen is one of thousands of overworked health workers in the heart of China's coronavirus outbreak that has seen more than 68,000 infected and 1,665 dead as of mid-February. Medical workers from 16 provinces, including Ms Shen's group from Kunming,  have travelled to Hubei to help sick patients. But as a shortage of supplies as well as staff continues, hospitals are forced to appeal to the public for help.

Budget Plan

Hong Kong government will provide additional annual funding of $30 million for employment programmes of the Labour Department to relieve job loss and financial pressure on individuals and companies, said Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po in the Feb 26 budget plan.

Coronavirus-Community team

Since February 1, Zhangjiakou government has required each residential community to form a coronavirus prevention team composed of at least 10 members to control personnel access and register residents' health situation, while due to the medical resources in short supply and limited joint members, community workers overworked only with basic protection.

 J-POP GROUP END OF THE WORLD (SEKAI NO OWARI) DROPS THEIR NEW ENGLISH SINGLE “OVER (R3HAB REMIX)”

End of the World has teamed up with British singer Gabrielle Aplin and Dutch DJ R3HAB to release a new English single “Over (R3HAB Remix)”. It is an electric song with a slow rhythm, accompanied by the clear and youthful voice of the lead singer and the whole song creates a psychedelic, relaxed atmosphere.

CHINA‘S PUSH ON ”STREET VENDOR ECONOMY“ FACES URBAN CHALLENGES

Wang said her sales were 50% less than the summer vacation as the amounts of tourists and students significantly decreased. The goods she provides, such as toy cars and cartoon character models, are mostly targeted to children aged 5-12 who need to go to school on weekdays and busy with homework or tutorial classes at the weekend.
